Meet Ed Apple

District 13 Shelby County Commissioner

About

Ed Apple is a lifelong Memphian, local small business owner, and Republican candidate running for the Shelby County Board of Commissioners to represent District 13 in the August 6, 2026, general election.

A graduate of Memphis University School, Apple built a career in capital markets—including serving as a managing director at Morgan Keegan—before founding Apple Partners, a real estate development and investment firm specializing in multi-family housing, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

Having previously advanced from the Republican primary in 2022, Apple's 2026 platform focuses on public safety through law enforcement partnerships, academic standards and fiscal accountability in Memphis-Shelby County Schools, regional economic growth via the reduction of business red tape, and transparent, responsible county government spending.
