Butta  MD's journey began at the age of 9 when she discovered her passion for music. She later graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business in May 2010. She also has taught music and theater to youth in several schools in Memphis. She currently has collaborated with visual artist Darlene Newman, as the writer of the intro song for the upcoming “Orange Mound Bound” animation premiering September 30th, 2023.
