Memphis Community Comes Together to Fight Cystic Fibrosis at Great Strides Now at Shelby Farms

The #FunCrew at JustMyMemphis is excited to announce that the West Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is hosting Memphis Great Strides on May 6 at Shelby Farms. This amazing event aims to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis, a progressive, genetic, multi-organ disease that affects over 300 people in West Tennessee alone.
Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest fundraising event and has helped raise millions of dollars to support research, drug development, and care for people with cystic fibrosis. This year, the event will begin at 10AM on Saturday, May 6, at Shelby Farms. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to set up their team site, which can include a tent, chairs, lawn games, and more.
Memphis Great Strides will feature a Zumba warm-up with Lisa Vinson, entertainment by DJ Funn, and a delicious lunch by Victory Lane BBQ. We invite everyone in Memphis to join us and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis.
