Your Vote, Your Guide: Everything You Need Before August 6th — And an Open Invitation to Every Candidate on the Ballot
Meet The Candidates | August 02, 2026
Shelby County's future is on the ballot, and JustMyMemphis wants every voter walking into the polls on August 6th to walk in informed — not overwhelmed.

That's why we built the 2026 Shelby County Digital Voter Guide, live now at JustMyMemphis.com/election2026. It's free. It's built for every voter in Shelby County. And it's designed to answer the question a lot of people ask themselves in the voting booth: Wait, who is this person, and what do they actually stand for?

What's Inside the Voter Guide

Every race on the Shelby County ballot is in one place — Assessor of Property, County Mayor, Sheriff, Circuit and Criminal Court judgeships, School Board seats, County Commission districts, and more, all the way down to races most voters never get a straight answer on until they're standing at the machine.

For every race, you'll find:

You don't have to dig through ten different campaign websites or guess based on a yard sign. It's all here, organized by race, updated as the election gets closer.

How to Use It

Before you vote — whether that's early voting or August 6th itself — pull up JustMyMemphis.com/election2026 on your phone. Find your races. Read the bios. Ask AskSKY! a question if you're unsure about something. Then vote knowing who you're actually voting for.

That's it. No paywall, no login, no catch. Be informed. Be local. Be heard.

An Open Invitation to Every Candidate: Share Your Last Word

With Election Day just days away, JustMyMemphis is giving every candidate on the Shelby County ballot — every race, every party, every corner of the county — the chance to speak directly to voters one final time before they vote.

We're calling it The Last Word.

Here's how it works: any candidate can submit a short, final closing statement, in their own words, at no cost. We won't edit it for viewpoint — just length and basic formatting. It'll be added to your profile in the Digital Voter Guide, and you're free to share it on your own social media, your website, wherever your supporters are.

This is genuinely open to everyone on the ballot. It's not a placement, it's not an ad — it's your closing argument, in your own voice, in front of Shelby County voters before they decide.
