THE DESIGN PROCESS

After the initial connection, Sandra will personally meet a prospective (or existing) client in person at the design location. Sandra will discuss the Client's needs, take a visual inventory of the space and discuss the Clients' vision. Some clients may prefer to keep existing furniture or treasured pieces.  Sandra and the Client will determine which pieces are needed to attain the vision.  In some cases, a Client may decide to simply re-purpose a treasured piece and the Team at Sandra Kelly Interior Design can also assist with these types of services.  

After the initial consultation, Sandra will create a "vision board."  The vision board is personalized and given a  project name.  Typically, the project name relates to a description of the overall vision for the project.  The vision board also includes a design plan demonstrating the Client's personality, needs, and ultimate goals for the space. 

Upon agreement, the actual design process begins.  The process includes sourcing furniture items and hiring subcontractors, if applicable.  Sandra will personally procure all of the necessary furniture, decor, and/or textiles needed to complete the space.   She will then infuse all items into the space.  

The Team at Sandra Kelly Interior Design will require access to the home for the agreed-upon duration of the project. They will complete the project within the timeframe set for completion.  

Next comes the REVEAL. The REVEAL is the reason Sandra does what she does! Upon project completion, the Client will return to their newly transformed space.  Sandra will personally walk the Client through the project step by step and share stories about every detail that went into bringing the final look together. Most REVEALS end in a toast to the happy Client and the newly designed space.
