As founding member of Smiley & Associates, PLLC, JB has dedicated his life to serving others. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, JB Smiley, Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts from Tennessee Technological University, University of Pikeville before receiving his Juris Doctor from UALR William H. Bowen School of Law.
After receiving his J.D., JB practiced law at a civil defense law firm in Little Rock, AR in the areas of insurance defense litigation, general civil litigation and workers’ compensation. While in Little Rock, JB was an active member of the North Little Rock Chapter of the NAACP and served as a board member for the North Little Rock Young Professionals in association with the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
